We work closely with you on creating your new custom home, and we manage our experienced team of architects, suppliers, subcontractors and other business partners behind the scenes to help streamline and simplify the home building process for you. While serving as your design consultant as well as your general contractor, our goal is to make your custom home building project a positive experience.

 

Building Green

 

Building green is a hot topic these days, but it’s more than a concept for us at Sunwood Builders, because we’re already incorporating energy efficient and eco-smart techniques and products into the custom homes we build. Our custom homes are typically designed and constructed to reduce energy waste without compromising high performance, resulting in significant energy savings while maintaining your comfort level inside the home during seasonal extremes.Some of the various eco-smart products and materials found in our custom homes include high efficiency heating and cooling equipment, which require less energy to operate; windows and doors designed specifically to maintain indoor temperature, reducing the power frequency of the heating and cooling equipment; high-performance insulation that holds in heat during winter and cooler air in the summer; Energy Star rated appliances that use less energy without compromising performance; and recycled or synthetic building materials manufactured with less of an impact on our environment.
